Toronto Film & TV AV. Thirty-six years on set.
Cineva by Apex Sound & Light is the film and television arm of Apex Sound & Light, a Canadian production company with thirty-six years of experience across video, audio, lighting, LED, rigging, staging, and live production.
Cineva narrows that depth to the needs of camera-led work. We support productions with LED volumes, driving plates, playback systems, specialty lighting, rigging, control, and crew, delivered with the pace and awareness a working set demands.
We created Cineva for productions that need more than an equipment order. Film and television days move fast. Calls change, departments overlap, and the technical layer has to fit into the shot without slowing the floor down.
Cineva brings Apex’s production backbone into a set-facing offer built for producers, line producers, DPs, camera teams, and crews who need the right systems, the right people, and a partner that understands how the day actually works.
The backbone
Built on Apex.
Apex Sound & Light Corporation has spent decades on the audio-visual side of Canadian production: audio, video, lighting, staging, rigging, and power, for corporate events, concert tours, festivals, sporting events, and permanent installations in venues from community theatres to stadium-scale arenas. The inventory is some of the newest in the industry, kept to broadcast spec, and among the most requested on artists’ equipment riders.
Cineva is the part of that built for the camera. Film and television run on their own clock and their own tolerances, and they do not forgive a vendor who treats a set like any other event. So the work gets its own arm: its own crew, its own focus, the full depth of the Apex inventory behind it.
The gear, the people, and the years are Apex. The focus on what a shoot needs, at the pace a shoot moves, is Cineva.

Where every order starts.
Every order starts in our warehouse, where the details get handled before the truck rolls.
Equipment is tested, firmware is checked, cable is counted, cases are labelled, and the order is organized around the way it needs to land on set. The goal is simple: when it arrives on your stage, the crew knows what is there, where it goes, and how it comes together.
Ready is not a hope. It is the point of the process.
The four pillars
What "ready" means to us.
Checked
Every order is tested before it leaves the warehouse. Power, signal, firmware, accessories, and key components are confirmed by technicians who understand how the equipment is used on set. It is not just pulled from a shelf. It is prepared for the job.
Clean
Gear arrives organized, presentable, and ready to work. Cables are dressed, connectors are seated, covers are packed, and the system is prepared with the floor in mind. Clean equipment tells the crew the details have been handled.
Labelled
Cases are tagged. Cable is counted. The manifest matches the order. When the truck opens, the crew can see what is there, where it belongs, and how it comes together. Less searching. Less guessing. Faster setup.
Supported
The people who prepare the order know what is on it. If something changes on set, you are not starting from zero with someone who has never seen the job. Cineva support is connected to the equipment, the workflow, and the crew behind it.
